ABOUT

Project summary

In each municipality there are groups of young people with common values and common goals. Groups set up on the basis of space and time on the basis of a pressing need for collective action and cooperation.

These groups have a dynamic evolution in the field and this is because they are set up each time through the need for collective expression of specific issues.

The existing situation does not contain an institutional framework with principles and specific guidelines to enable youth groups to be able to take collective decisions, interact with municipal authorities and act.

Any need for change, for youth action today, goes through an irregular and labyrinthian network of informal communication with each municipal authority.

"The aim of this proposal is to set up an internal dialogue structure between the municipal authority and the local youth groups"

There is no institutionalized and organized communication framework for young people and the municipal authority for decision-making concerning young people. It is primarily the disposal of each municipal authority and is a "personal responsibility".

A neighbourhood issue, a youth action at the local level, a general request from a group of young people cannot be discussed under an organized dialogue framework.

The aim of this proposal is to set up an internal dialogue structure between the municipal authority and the local youth groups.

We create an e-platform that will enable young people's groups to communicate with the municipal authority and make joint decisions.

The focus of this project is to implement a pilot project where informal youth groups, associations and any collective expression of young people can be involved with the municipality authority and co-decide on their future.

We are looking for young people to participate in any form of collective expression, be an association or an informal group of young people. A basic requirement for the selection of the participants is to have a strong willing to participate in decision-making. Believe in the principles and values of a democratic society and have a sense of collegiality.
